Kai joined our family on 23/02/2010 aged 15 ½ months old. He is a rough coated Saint Bernard, which is not an accurate description of his fur as it is silky soft!

His previous family had two Saint Bernards but due the owners ill health sadly they had to let them go. They had taken both Saints to dog shows and did well enough to qualify them for Crufts 2010.

Kai is really good natured, he loves everyone he meets and gives them a big slobbery lick. He is a pretty useless guard dog; (but that job is reserved for our Neapolitan Mastiff, Dante anyway). The worst that Kai is likely to do would be to trip a burglar up, as his favourite spot is to lie across the front door. He makes a very good draught excluder.

Kai has a lovely face and a kindly expression. He is always interested in what is going on. He loves walks and playing chase with Heidi or Dante, but he�s not one for playing with toys. He is really laid back and nothing seems to bother him. He is totally unfazed when having a bath or using the hairdryer on him.

Kai is micro-chipped, vaccinated and wormed up to date, and protected from fleas and ticks with the product Frontline. I am presently feeding him on Royal Canin Giant Junior Professional Complete food. In a few months he will move onto the adult formula.

Kai has quite an impressive pedigree with nineteen Champions in his five generation pedigree.

Kai is now available for stud (to approved hip scored female St Bernards only).
